Founder & Principal Designer

Celine founded CHIC Redesign in 2002. Born and raised in Normandy, France in a picturesque coastal village, she considers her designs like comfort-food French cuisine: the use of simple flavorsome ingredients with minimal processing, bursting with character.
With a M.Sc. in environmental engineering from one of the most prestigious colleges in France, she completed in 2002 her interior designer training from the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) in Montréal. She is a natural born problem solver and her creations are a balanced mix of energy and comfort, the results of years of research and observation on the effects of a positive environment on people's general well-being.
Her diverse clientele shows that Celine and her team are excellent at translating ideas no matter what their cultural heritage may be.
Michelle graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Haven in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. Throughout her education, she was an avid member of the American Society of Interior Designers and student rep for the Connecticut Coalition of Interior Designers while also volunteering her little spare time with many local charities and organizations.
Her design experience includes residential design with PNB Interior Design Inc and Barbara Block Interiors, commercial office design with Office Concepts, and home staging with Furniture Connection.
Michelle started at CHIC Redesign as an intern in 2013, before becoming an Interior Design Assistant and later an Interior Designer. Her strong organization and time management skills make her a great asset for CHIC. Michelle currently works as an Interior Design Consultant for CHIC.
